Another picture of a broken vehicle quarter glass from central Auckland.

When our glaziers repair this type of damage onsite, they are equipped with generators and high powered vacuums to also get rid of all the tiny fragments of shattered glass.

Vehicles being broken into seems to be on the rise. This picture was snapped by one of our glaziers before fixing up the window.

This 2005 Ford Falcon XR8 Sedan has just had a replacement door glass in the front after a burglary.

In this instance, the customer has had the windows film tinted after purchasing the car, so our glazier organised to have the film tinting re-fitted once the glass repair had been completed.

Failed WOF Due to Delaminated Windscreen

Delaminated Windscreen

Delamination occurs when moisture gets in between the three layer which make up the windscreen.

Over time, the moisture errodes the components of the windscreen and causes them to separate.

The result is more moisture, and a milky colour in the glass.

This particular vehicle has failed a WOF becuase of delamination in the windscreen.

Issuers of Warrants of Fitness are well within the guidelines of LTSA rule 32012/2 to decline a WOF to any bevhicle with delamination in the glass.
